The Kingdom of Ansteorra

Origins

Ansteorra became a principality of the Kingdom of Atenveldt on November 26th, A.S. XII (1977), during the reign of King Ton and Queen Elizabeth.

Ansteorra's first coronet tournament was held on November 26th, A.S. XII (1977) at Bjørnsborg Sean McFlamm of Ravenswaard won the coronet, with Katharina von Alyssin as his consort. The Investiture was held on the same day.

The first crown tournament in the Principality of Ansteorra was held on May 12th, A.S. XIV (1979) in Bryn Gwlad. Jonathan DeLaufyson Macebearer won the crown tournament, with Willow de Wisp as his consort. The coronation was held on June 16th A.S. XIV (1979) in Elfsea, making Ansteorra the seventh kingdom.

Geography

The Kingdom of Ansteorra's borders cover Oklahoma and most of Texas.

King's Device - "Or, a mullet of five greater and five lesser points sable within a laurel wreath vert, in chief a crown of three points, all within a tressure sable, overall issuant from base a demi-sun gules."
